Capacity

Machines & capabilities

Our floor covers the work end to end: cut, turn, bore, mill, cut gears, weld and fabricate. Capacities below are the working envelopes we quote against. Typical turnaround is 7–10 days, depending on the job.

01

CNC capacity

CNC turning and machining centres run production batches and one-off precision work from your drawing or sample. Programming is done in-house, so revisions do not cost you days.

Max turning diameter
Ø900mm
Max turning length
5m
Machining centre travels
3200 x 1500 x 700mm
Spindle bore
Ø250mm
Axes
3-axis
Batch size
1 – mass production
CNC lathe cutting
02

Boring capacity

Horizontal boring handles the heavy, awkward work: pump casings, gearbox housings, bearing bores and worn seats bored and sleeved back to size.

Max bore diameter
Ø1300 x 700mm height
Tolerance
to drawing
Horizontal boring mill
03

Conventional capacity

Conventional turning, milling, surface grinding and drilling covers repair work, modifications and parts that do not justify a CNC program.

Centre lathe swing
Ø1200mm x 6m
Mill travels
3200 x 1500 x 750mm
Grinding
surface / cylindrical

Gear cutting

We cut new gears and re-tooth worn ones: spur, helical, bevel, worm and splines, matched to your existing drive.

Types
spur / helical / bevel / worm
Splines
yes
Cut gear on the machine
05

Laser cutting

Plate profiles cut clean and square from your DXF or sketch: brackets, flanges, gussets and gasket sets, nested to keep material cost down.

Sheet size
6m x 2m, with tube laser attachment
Materials
mild / stainless / alu
File formats
DXF, DWG, PDF
Laser type
Fibre
Tube & profile cutting
Yes
Laser-cut plate parts
06

Fabrication

Boilermakers build frames, chutes, hoppers, guards and structural assemblies, then we machine the critical faces on the same site.

Finishing
primed or painted
Fabricated frame in build
07

Welding

Coded welders work in MIG/MAG, TIG, MMA, flux-cored, sub-arc and laser welding across all materials, including cast iron repair and build-up of worn components.

Processes

Materials
All materials, incl. cast iron repair
